According to the WP, 80% who make 50-75K/year would realize about 850 dollars tax cut/year, and that

850 is temporary. That comes out to about 71 dollars a month. I wonder if that will cover their increased health insurance premiums with the individual mandate removed?

"Republicans have sold the tax plan as a boost to middle class paychecks. According to the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation, 80 percent of Americans earning $50,000 to $75,000 would get a sizable reduction in their taxes by 2019 (the average cut would be about $850, according to the Tax Policy Center). Overall, about 62 percent of Americans would pay at least $100 less in taxes in 2019. But the tax cuts for families don't last forever. The Senate bill has the lower rates for individuals going away after 2025. Republicans argue a future Congress is likely to extend the cuts, but there is no guarantee that will happen."

This will come back to bite Americans in the butt, with the poor and middle class suffering the most from it while the rich profit.
The Reagan "trickle-down" theory failed miserably in the 80's, and taxes had to be increased later. Oklahoma and Kansas tried this at the state level, which only resulted with companies granting big bonuses for the executives, but did NOT increase employment or help the poor.

Let's not give up yet, and call our House representative and register our objection to this garbage bill
