You know, the smaller percentage of Bernie supporters that voted 3rd party/Trump than the percentage of Hillary supporters that voted 3rd party/Romney? There's no need to throw salt at them. Focus your ire toward the Republicans who are introducing, and now passing, this BS legislation.

Or they will say that Clinton would have gotten us into World War III so even if this tax bill is bad at least the world wasn't destroyed. Or they will take the "accelerationist" position popular among some far left types that things need to get worse before they get better so we need the GOP to ruin and pauperize more Americans before they get the message and become militant socialists and then the socialist revolution can happen.

None of them will admit that maybe voting for Trump/Stein/Johnson or not voting at all was a dumb idea.

surprisingly they were both very negative about the tax bill

==AND SHOCKINGLY==

I didn't see any mention of Hillary or Clinton -- I did a search on "hill" and another search on "Clinton", and also skimmed many responses.

That said, there are plenty of threads that make the case (in their moronic minds) that Hillary would be even worse at just about everything than Trump. And yes, that we would be in all kinds of full-scale wars started by "Queen Hillary" right now. Sigh.

None of them will admit that maybe voting for Trump/Stein/Johnson or not voting at all was a dumb idea.

Your right. No signs of self-reflection or soul-searching over there. I saw one idiotic response about needing to "get out the vote". Well, ummm, yeah, getting a few more thousand people to vote for Stein or write in Bernie is going to fix everything

that Flynn did nothing illegal and anyway if he did it was Obama's fault.

Did we not have fucking better things to do in the past, and do we not have fucking better things to do in the future, than to defend as allies people who regularly fuck us over and who contributed to the mess we are in today?

Where are all the threads here from people standing up for those people and talking about how they shouldn't be criticized?

It doesn't happen. What we do get though is multiple threads each week talking about how shitty these people (who don't post here anyway) are, how they should be shamed etc, and often it ends up turning into some wider condemnation of the left.

It's pointless and often ends up being unnecessarily divisive. Can we just agree that none of us agree with them, and focus on the Republicans who are the ones we are actually fighting right now, instead of some tiny insignificant group of crazy people?

here. Some are sincere. Some are trolling us. MANY of them were trolling us during the election.

So no thanks. I will keep an eye on them, and comment on them here whenever I think it's warranted. I don't want us to make the same mistake again.

And, no, it does NOT turn into a "wider condemnation of the left." All of US here ARE the left. THEY are not.
