I think it was the G8 or G20 summit in Europe. Trump just agressively shoves aside one world leader to be seen at the front spot of the line up, without even apologizing to or acknowledging the guy (some country's leader) he just physically assaulted on international TV....that sticks in my mind as a perfect encapsulation of his personality....just win or appear to be winning at any cost. High school bullies do that...push aside the weak to get to the front of the line even if it is not their turn. Typical bully trait.

(5,810 posts)It was quite obvious he thought HE should be at the front of the pack. And didnt mind ramming his way to the front ahead of others. I wish there had been thought bubbles above the heads of the other leaders showing what they were thinking.
He really is an ass wearing an extra long red tie.

(9,999 posts)The shove, the lifted head tilt, the chin jut (you can almost hear the nonverbal grunt) while grabbing his jacket (might as well have beaten his chest) reminds me of a large primate showing his dominance. His ego was on full display. Oh Mr Mueller, please take this maniac down and teach him some humility.

(115,710 posts)The PM of Montenegro appears to be having a conversation with Jens Stoltenberg, and Trump not only pushes the PM aside but interrupts his conversation.
What a swine...

(9,999 posts)You know, the first time I saw this, I thought he was joking because it was so over the top, that it looked like something one would exaggerate if one was joking or being playful. After all, no one would actually BE that rude. Then I realized that this was Trump and he wasn't joking. Then all I felt was horror that the President of my country could actually be this boorish. Oh how I want to see this asswipe get his.

(2,702 posts)On Sunday I was driving from Mexico into Arizona. About 4 or 5 miles before the border traffic started to crawl. At first a few cars passed on the shoulder. It seemed to be local traffic bypassing the queue. Then it seemed more and more cars started passing on the shoulder. Most with Arizona plates. It was obvious they were going to bypass all of us and cut to the front of the line.
A couple of larger vehicles tried to block the shoulder but as soon as there was room cars started going around them. I noticed one behind me gave up and joined the shoulder which was obviously becoming the fast lane.
After hours of inching towards the border the shoulder narrowed. As we suspected, those in the shoulder were merging in front. Some were rather forceful and rude. Yet, all of us in the legal lane eventually let one in.
I told my husband it was a perfect example of the Democrats and Republicans. They cheated. They were bullies as they merged back in front of us. Their cheating and bullying worked as we let me them in even as we fumed about it.
