So they rewrite the tax code to fuck us and benefit only the super rich, but it's OK

because "People are finally energized," more so than they would have been under that "dangerous" Hillary

Democrats are pretty energized, and they mostly have Trump to "thank" for that. I seriously doubt that Democrats would be this energized if Hillary had won.

Time will tell. If the Democratic wave sweeps the House and Senate in 2018, the Dems will be in a great position.

If Hillary had been elected, she would probably be still facing an obstructionist GOP Congress which hated her even more than they hated Obama. Could Hillary have energized enough Dems to sweep the House and Senate? Maybe. Maybe not.

The current situation is absurd, maddening, and untenable. Bickering about shit like this doesn't help the cause much, I think.

We may do some sweeping in 2018 but not before Medicare and Social Security and welfare reform are gone.
