All of this is the result of stupid, arrogant and ignorant people blundering into the public sphere and thinking that it operates by the rules they are used to flouting without consequence.

Donnie, Donnie Jr., Eric, Ivanka & Jared....this is how they have always run their businesses! Collusion with Russia? Hell, those are their business partners. It's just business! they have been skirting the law and relying on their fame and money to keep them out of trouble their whole lives. And it has worked! But now they are in public life, they are under public scrutiny and they are upsetting the apple cart vis a vis how Washington works. It is almost funny but certainly pathetic to see them protest and tweet and claim unfairness, witch hunt, etc.--they simply do not understand that the rules here are different.

With the cretinous pukes at their backs I'm afraid they may still skate, but we will see.
