This is important, the radio host in Rwanda had clear intent...I don't think Rush does, and O'Reilly was properly shocked and defensive after Doctor Tiller's death.
But that does not mean it does not happen. Our shooter, in this case, was hearing voices in his head...he did not live in any vacuum and probably heard the comments, since they were all over the place, but how much of a role this had...will be harder than nails to prove. Dr. Tiller's murderer was easier, and shoud have come before the court, but this will still be denied by all. Mostly it makes us uncomfortable, that shock jock language might have more of an effect than just words.

(1,384 posts)However, doesn't it seem a bit odd that he picked the premier of this particular movie? If he turns out to not be a Rush fan this is only wild speculation, but I revel in wild speculation.

The dude preaches hate, and he's got a lot of acolytes.
