In this twisted reality it won't be long before the GOP tries to blame Democrats for the bad effects.. Sure it all sounds crazy as hell but we ended up with Trump didn't we. And we will likely end up with Moore in the Senate. We are in a new reality where there are NO SUCH THINGS as facts with a significant part of the electorate.
When you actually see Lindsey Graham call Trump and kook and then now complain that the media is calling him a kook it is now a different reality. When you claim that gays and liberal were part of the Moore revelations and it is a conspiracy that is fake we are in a new reality when Moore still leads in the polls and will likely win. When Democrats are supposed to resign for harassment and GOPPERS are essentially applauded for similar crimes we are in a new reality when they can still get elected. And when a mine owner who killed 29 miners can run for the Senate. He will probably get elected.
So when I say the Democrats will be blamed for all the cuts and people will believe if our reality is so twisted it actually might work. Even though the recent elections have turned out well for Democrats it is hopeful. Yet I am not counting on hope. 2018 is still too far away and too many things can happen.
Every day I see dreadful things on the horizon. The problem is we cannot correct these terrible results fast enough if ever. The GOP is poised to do so much damage in the interim. And the dreadful tax bill is just the beginning.

(92,478 posts)a couple of years those tax breaks disappear for all but the wealthiest
So when that happens, they will then blame this boon doggie on the Democrats
The is Robinhood in reverse, and the middle class are going to take the biggest hit, with especially if they remove the deduction for home equity interest which many have used to finance their kids education, medical expenses, and home improvement, along with the elimination of the property tax deduction and state income tax deduction. Health insurance premiums will then go up even higher when the mandate is removed, and Medicaid and the subsides will cover less, so in the end, more people will be uninsured because they cant afford the premiums

(2,120 posts)... they'll whine about Obama and how it's all his fault. Which is why we MUST respond with: "But I thought Trump had total control of the economy and was taking credit for the stock market boom/low unemployment? How did Obama manage to sneak back in and ruin everything? Isn't Trump supposed to be more powerful than Obama, hmmmmmmm? How is it that Obama managed to outsmart and defeat Trump if he's so great at everything, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?"
