I think the fact that this is a single count charge against Flynn is huge.

Considering they had him dead to right on so many different things. (Such as his failing to register as an agent, his dealings in Turkey which possibly involved a kidnapping, etc.)

He's a cooperating witness and he plead to a single count to receive leniency that would have otherwise kept him in jail for the rest of his life. Of that, I'm certain.

Papadop plea was confidential, maybe because he continued on his normal routine with a wire.

Flynn will be center stage. Mueller saying, in effect, to Trump..."he used to be your best friend but now he's my best friend".

Trumpy knows his cover has blown open. He knows that he's committed treason. He knows that there is precious little between now and indictments of his family and, lastly, of himself. It's now a slow, torturous walk to complete ruin. And to say nothing of Schneiderman's investigations, which have the potential of confiscating ALL of his assets, and the assets of his criminal family.

We're all pretty sure there are many more much bigger "problems" Flynn has, and being charged with this one seems laughably small.

But it's part of the probable bargain they made: "Okay, I'll plead on this in exchange for telling you EVERYTHING I know, and cooperating fully until it's all done and you let me loose. And I'll remember that you can resuscitate those other charges any time you think I'm not being fully cooperative. And oh yeah, charge my son too."

That's why Trumpy treated Flynn with kid gloves after Flynn left the WH, telling him to "stay strong." And Flynn is giving Mueller the fast lane.

HIS testimony will turn him into Trumpy's HellBoy. And let's not forget Jared's bone-headed advice to Trumpy to fire Comey. It's all part of Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice. Any conspiracy charge in which Trumpy is indicted virtually prevents Trumpy from pardoning co-conspirators, as he would also have to pardon himself. This isn't going to happen.

The only action left for Trumpy?

KEEP DIGGING.

10. Now let's see Trumpy "blow a gasket."
Fri Dec 1, 2017, 11:10 AM
Dec 2017

With Flynn in Mueller's clutches, there is no way that Trumpy can even think about firing Mueller. He's already going to be indicted on perhaps 30 or 40 counts of Obstruction. And now that his pressuring of Senate Republicans to stop their investigations has come to the attention of the public, Senators will be very reluctant to entertain Trumpy's pleas any more, because THEY are now in Mueller's sights as co-conspirators to Obstruct Justice.

Trumpy tried to develop a leak-proof protection plan. He clearly has the House Intelligence Committee in his hip pocket, with Ryan, Nunes and Gowdy running interference for him. All three likely are targets for Conspiracy to Obstruct. But he also went a step too far in pressuring GOP Senators, who are more reluctant to getting pushed around. Now the Obstruction efforts are in full view, and ANY moves to protect Trumpy from ANYONE in Congress will be seen as further evidence of Obstruction.
