Why is the Media Giving

Trump credit for a good economy. What exactly has he done? What legislature has he passed that has helped improve the economy and why is Wall Street booming? Is it because they are expecting a big tax break?

While they often run together but they are not the same thing.

Some times things that are good for the stock market (ie mass layoffs) are not good for the broader economy.

In this case, the stock market is happy because they are getting everything they want; tax cuts, deregulation, friendly courts, insider regulators, etc.

I fully expect all of that to blow up and crash when everyone realizes that it isn't actually good for the actual economy. You can call it a bubble but it is really just reality catching up with enthusiasm. We have seen this movie before.
