The GOP deficit plan is to run it up over $20 trillion. They they will use it to stop the checks for Social Security, Medicare, Mediaid, food stamps, etc. All the programs they hate.

1. They cant help but run it up.

They wont cut the military. Cant cut interest on the national debt. SS pay ins = pay outs so no gain there. Thats the big three. Discretionary spending is a small part of the budget, they could eliminate all of it and still not cover the deficit. Add in tax cuts for the rich they're so fond of, and the deficit will soar. Yet somehow, they'll blame it on Obama... or Clinton's penis.
