The ones that hope Military would shoot their families/neighbors are probably the next James Holmes. That said, there are some that would love to watch their neighbors led out in chains and their homes razed. They would foam at the mouth over the option of Pay-per-View..

So soldiers will, when ordered to attack, kill American citizens both intentionally and unintentionally.
However I would hope that if ordered to, say, eliminate a town or city of people they would think twice.
I would hope.
