Sebastian Gorka Reportedly Carries 2 Guns And A Tourniquet With Him Every Day

"SNIP...........

Controversial former Donald Trump aide Sebastian Gorka had a profile published about him on Saturday in gun magazine Recoil.

The interview, which can be read in full here, touches on Gorka’s stint advising Trump on national security (Gorka left in August, following criticism over his anti-Islamist views and reported ties to a far-right Hungarian group), his political stances and his dim view of the media (hi!).

Since Recoil is focused on firearms, the piece included a large segment devoted to Gorka’s zest for guns and shooting. And there was one detail in particular that stood out and captured the interest of many folks on social media.

According to Recoil, Gorka’s “everyday carry” — meaning the items a person typically carries with them on a daily basis — includes two pistols, two flashlights, a knife, a tourniquet and a copy of the U.S. Constitution.

Gorka was born in the United Kingdom to Hungarian parents, lived in Hungary from 1992 to 2008, and in 2012 became a naturalized American citizen.

If Gorka has been naturalized, then he's an American citizen, as you wrote. Whether or not he was born in the U.S. is irrelevant.

He's still a paranoid, fearful little Trumpette. Oh, he's an ass with a fake accent, too.

The recently-deceased Congressman Maurice Hinchey had a similar incident in 2004.

Early in his tenure as congressman, Hinchey was arrested for having a .32-caliber handgun in a carry-on bag at a Washington, D.C.-area airport. He pleaded “no contest” to the crime and was given a suspended sentence.

I think Hinchey's decision to carry was beyond reproach, since he had been investigating mob involvement in the sanitation industry. I assume a Congressman can get a carry permit for DC, which means he could have legally put the pistol in checked luggage. But a carry-on? No, no, and no.

I've lived in RVN for a period of time. We lived with weapons for a reason. Now, I read, listen and watch a lot.

I fail to understand a person, in a polite and civil society, feeling so insecure that he/she must carry a weapon. After the watching my fellow troopers in RVN, I came away with the realization that some folks have a fear that everyone is out to get them and "I have to be prepared".

Gorka must feel he's living in life in a mystery/spy novel. Personally, I am uncomfortable anyplace when I become aware there is someone packing. To include Walmart, which is infrequent. I leave.

Sure, I carry some of the stuff mentioned in his emergency bag. It's practical roadside assistance for yourself and others.

There is too much at stake with a misdirected bullet. Like, that hunter in New York State. He made a poor choice and needs to pay.

BTW, my copy of the constitution is an arms length away.

They actually want a BIG government. They already have a full-time state-information outlet with Fox News. They want a government to be run “like a business,” so the nitwit prez can play every dirty trick in the book in order to pay off his creditors and make some cash...Russian collusion (“we’ll give you the presidency, then you can give us some nice remarks, or maybe we can forget your debts,
comrade?!”).
