but I'd prefer the Mayor of san Juan or Robert Mueller. Oh wait, I think it should be the #RESIST movement! That would be my choice.

...just to see the hordes of Cult-45 stage huge bonfires of that Time Magazine issue (after paying retail price for each copy) in true Reich-wing boycott tradition.
However, GQ has already named him as Citizen of the Year:

If they named Vladimir Putin, they could use the same reason they used to justify naming Adolf Hitler in 1938, but they already did that in 2007.

So, I would like to see Germany's Prime Minister Angela Merkel receive the distinction. Again, (yes, she was named person of the year three years ago, but times have changed). Almost immediately after Drumpf's inauguration, she has emerged as the current leader of the free world.

Vote here.

Whether the women who came out in the millions after 45s election or the women who now are brave enough to speak out on sexual abuse, or the hundreds of women who for the first time ran for elected office this year.

That would be a GREAT cover, so would the idea of throwing Hillary on there just to piss them off. However, I suspect it will be 45.

Remember, TIME's person of the year isn't necessarily there for their greatness, but "for better or for worse... has done the most to influence the events of the year"

That's why they've had such notorious figures such as Ayatollah Khomeini, Hitler, Putin, Nixon, and Stalin as their named person of the year in years past. I can reasonably see 45 there among the worst.

One thing we can't deny, that orange bastard has definitely done a LOT to negatively affect the events of this past year.
