But Mueller knows he has to have a completely airtight case against Trump in order to get him in a courtroom. That's why this process is so extensive.

But remember, the house impeaches, the Senate convicts. I would doubt at this point if the house would impeach

The law isn't clear about whether he can be charged/indicted while he's still in office, but once he's out he's fair game. And don't forget, Bill Clinton's impeachment was based on perjury (lying about getting a blow job, not getting a blow job).
