I understand how hard it is to quit. I watched my mom try to quit for years. It took getting breast cancer at age 48, when she just went cold turkey. But, I know a few people my age, who are still can't beat it.

Malia is old enough to understand the nuances of the current political discourse, and the animosity towards her dad and mom, so...from that point of view she should be mature enough to make sure she does not give an eighth of an inch to the repubs to try to throw dirt at her and her family...don't open the door to the deplorable creeps (I am talking about the GOP politicians by the way) to start making noise because of her behaviour...

So I say to Malia...be careful, make sure that what you do is not on video, in a picture, it must be on your own private time and place.
