Not really. But just think when Breitbart, Free Republic, WorldNutDaily, etc. fails to load, it won't be because of the ISP throttling right winger connections or it won't be because they didn't want to be on a 'fast lane', it will be because of a sinister George Soros-led cabal in some pizzeria conspiring to slow down their Internet connections.
It'll be YOUR fault they can't connect to their dens of confirmation bias, so start working on your sarcastic apologies now.

(1,202 posts)...those with excess can bet the top Net Dog. Repukes have generally outraised Dems since Citizens United was struck down. And now they won't have any restrictions or any sort of campaign spending limits to use their money to direct and manipulate the public political conversations.

(63 posts)Don't underestimate the ability of the current fascists to make this go their way.
Consider that Murdoch wants to buy CNN, which will ostensibly turn it into a fascist propaganda outlet.

Conveniently, the fascist overrun Justice dept has just blocked the AT&T / Time Warner merger- justice may want them to put CNN up for sale. This is just one of many ways that the right wing will use to get their way. Even if this doesn't happen, some other back room deal will happen to keep the kool-aid flowing.
Massive corporations doing massive deals that interact with government regulations provide convenient leverage points for fascist governments to gain valuable concessions (why it's natural for unregulated capitalism to turn into autocracy). When fascists run the telcom regulation agencies, you better believe that fascist propaganda will flow without restriction.
