My first thought was that it was coming from a video game, that he had been playing some violent video game in order to get himself psyched up for what he was about to do.

Didn't think about it being to lure somebody there.

I think he was at the theater at that time, but I'm not sure. It sounds like he wanted someone to knock on his door for the music, and if left it unlocked, someone may have opened the door. It doesn't make sense he warned the cops. I'm glad he did, but why? Theaters should make fire doors that alarms go off and lights go on, movie stops fines are written. He hid his guns outside the fire door is what they said.
