Doug Jones just had an ad on TV featuring several repubs saying they couldn't bring themselves to vote for Roy Moore in light of the recent allegations against him. And it happened to air immediately after a news report covering Crazy Roy's latest press conference where his wife claimed he was a "good man" and she was sticking by his side.
Fantastic keep the heat on!!!! If you haven't donated yet please consider giving at least a little so ads like these can continue to air.

(16,104 posts)The really good stuff is probably coming after Thanksgiving.
Doug Jones has ruled the commercial airwaves while Roy Moore gets all the free news coverage nationally.
I really like it this way!

(2,679 posts)I love Act Blue. I make monthly donation to my congresswoman Murphy, and my card is on record so I didn't have to fill no forms for Doug Jones.
Made my donation to Jones and left a tip for Act Blue.

(20,730 posts)I love his front page issues: (From his website)
I believe the United States of America is a land of laws, justice, freedom, equality, and opportunity.
Ill take those values to the U.S. Senate and work hard for all the people of Alabama:
Everyone has the right to quality, affordable health care.
We must restore Alabamas trust for its elected leaders.
I will defend a womans right to choose and stand with Planned Parenthood.
All children deserve a first-class education regardless of where they live.
College must be affordable without burdening a student with overwhelming debt.
I believe in science and will work to slow or reverse the impact of climate change.
It is past time we raise the minimum wage to a livable wage.
Women must be paid an equal wage for equal work at all levels.
Voter suppression is unAmerican we must protect voting rights.
Discrimination cannot be tolerated or protected. America is best when it builds on diversity and is welcoming of the contributions of all.
It will be worth it to know I helped tip the senate blue!

(11,068 posts)On Monday we had an order to install service at a new campaign office for Jones. With a 3-year contract. Someone seems to have a jolt of confidence.

(13,776 posts)Is this usual for campaign offices, to have multi-year contracts?

(11,068 posts)And probably afford the full early termination fee.
What I found interesting is the campaign signed up for service the day after the Roy Moore scandal hit. So someone thought it was worth sending some operatives into the field.

Typically things shut down on November 15 (assuming a normal November election calendar). That is when (salaried) staff are paid through and typically when leases are up. Utilities (including internet) are shut off when the keys are turned in.
State (and sometimes) county parties maintain a year round HQ and more permanent staff (ie fundraisers) work out of those offices or remotely.

(82,849 posts)A long record of public service, and he can go into any mall in Alabama. Don't lay it on too thick with your Republican friends, but do urge them to take a hard look at the candidates in elections after this. Democrats move as little as 3% in some areas, and we go from drowning our sorrows on election night to celebrating our victory.

(46,166 posts)In political terms it's still a long way to the election. Roy & Co. are making a play for hearts and minds right now. Jones needs the cash to stay on their heels every day.
Rec'd for keeping the heat on!
