Bannon Reportedly Urged Sean Hannity to Back Off Roy Moore 'Ultimatum'

by Lawrence Bonk | 10:07 am, November 17th, 2017

Sean Hannity’s reaction to the developing Roy Moore story has been curious. First, he offered Moore a sympathetic interview, even having a guest on later that night to say that victims of sexual predators are “few and far between.” Next, there was the whole Keurig debacle and, well, the less said about that the better. Finally, Hannity issued Moore a scathing ultimatum, addressing the Alabama candidate and demanding “You must remove any doubt [within 24 hours.] If he can’t do this, then Judge Moore needs to get out of this race.”

Guess what happened next? Time marched on, as it usually does, and Hannity quietly swept the whole thing under the rug, telling viewers the next day that he had received a call from Moore that addressed all of his concerns and that he was free to stay in the race.

CNN’s Rebecca Berg has reported that Steve Bannon, a long-time supporter of Moore, stepped in and might have put the kibosh on the whole thing.

Meanwhile, not only is Roy Moore staying in the race, he’s also comparing his integrity to hemorrhoids. What a time to be alive.

“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.
“You must be,” said the Cat, “or you wouldn’t have come here.”

I'm guessing he carries with him a miasma of sweat, booze, stale cigarettes, garlic breath, farts, and dirty underwear, with an overlay of decades-old Brut, and that he can be smelled at a considerable distance - giving any potential targets plenty of opportunity to avoid him.
