Sexual harassment. Why no rock stars?

We've got politicians, businessmen, pundits, sports stars, you name it, but up until now, no rock stars. To me that is surprising. Mid 20s excess, drugs, fame, fortune, rock and roll, seems like an area that might be ripe for sexual abuses.

My guess would be the "bubble" that rock stars live in.

Politicians, businessmen, etc tend to be surrounded by professional types who have no interest in them sexually (well, some do, but presumably, most don't).

Rock stars tend to be surrounded by...for want of a better word...willing accomplices.

There are exceptions. I believe Rick James met one.

Groupies go after rock stars. It is something they want to do. It would be tough for a rock star to find a woman that doesn't want them, so they don't get the "chance."

And if it were just about groupies, there is still an expectation of conduct. Rock stars are hardly the only people with groupies BTW. When sports people gather, it is like a bunch of pirates as well.
