Once LBJ pushed through his Great Society platform, the Southern Dems (think Strom Thurman) flocked to Nixon's Silent Majority like moths to a flame. We now have two generations that think only the GOP will look out for their "morals & heritage". They have been told that the libtards will take their guns and white privilege leaving them at the mercy of a murderous rabble who get their marching orders from George Soros.

As it's been said before, they would have to be caught in bed with a dead woman or a live boy to lose their base.

If Moore stays in and the GOP urges a write-in (this being the scenario I'd currently bet on), it would split the Republican vote to such a degree as to make (all other things being equal) Jones the new senator.
