holy shit... it's ok for 32 year olds to molest a 14 year old because "it's our heritage and culture"?

I'm really wanting the civil war to have ended differently... this time with execution for treason anyone in the south that supported the Confederacy.

Too extreme? Looking at the results now 150 years later... maybe not.

Forgive and forget.....
Don't bother to kick a dead horse....
Common sense will prevail....
Goodness will always prevail....

Often times we are so eager and quick to turn a blind eye to these problems that they never are met with full exposure or the issues fully understood or rectified.

So what happens - we gloss over these issues and make believe they have been resolved, but they really haven't been.

Down the road we find again and again we put our foot back into the same bucket of shit repeatedly.

We need to take a different approach. If we refuse to adjudicate criminal political wrongdoings. Maybe we could at least minimally hold truth commissions where any case of perjury means 7 years in prison. At least air the dirty waters so they are cleansed and re-freshen so the political waters flow clear and clean again. Then the public would have at least an idea of what and who contaminated the political waters, keep these dirty players out of our politics as we continually strive to steer clear of these same filthy political cesspools.

If we gloss over or quickly bury these problems we never fully understand them and deny ourselves the opportunity to formulate lasting remedies or solutions.

The Civil War...
Morphs into rampant racism...
Morphs into white supremacy...
Morphs into the John Birch Society...
Morphs into the KKK...
Morphs into burning, bombing, lynching becoming acceptable and common place.

150 years after the Civil War we have not yet put the issues of rampant racism behind us it continues to fester and brew just below the surface.

Look at Paul Manafort and Roger Stone and how these goons habitually return to haunt, subvert, pervert, and contaminate politiial discourse.

# 1

Manafort/Stone - these Rethug operatives/dirty trick henchmen have been around since Richard Nixon and Lee Atwater. Don't tell me these snakes we're not involved in the formulation of the idea and planning of the Nixonian act of treason to delay the Viet Peace Accords until after Nixon got into the White House. This was directly against the Logan Act and committed treason against the Johnson White House to give Nixon a huge political advantage to win the presidential election.
Nixon enhanced his entry to the White House directly through acts of treason.
# 2
I would not doubt that Manafort/Stone brought the dirty tricks blueprints used for Nixon's treason and offered to sell these plans to the Ronald Reagan election committee to give Reagan a huge advantage during the presidential election.
Iran hostage release/Iran weapon contract/support-fund Nicaraguan Rebels/cocaine drug running to support clandestine operations from US Congress oversight. Reagan enhanced his entry into the White House directly through acts of treason.
# 3
Manafort/Stone - Gingrich/Giuliani among many others were election operatives to put Trump into the oval office.

Acts of treason committed by domestic Trump campaign surrogates in consort with covert Russian assistance gave Trump a huge advantage during the presidential election to help gain entry to the oval office.

The question now is when will USA national elections no longer be synonymous with the GOP Republican Party and then having them regularly committing Treason to win those same elections ?

I wholeheartedly agree. I traveled extensively and worked to lose my accent, now people think I sound like I'm from the mid west. I think nothing sounds more ignorant, backwards, patronizing, uncultured, inerudite, and often goes hand in hand with some vile hateful dialogue, than a southern man slinging his drawl.

A southern lady with a sophisticated southern accent is nice but it too can slide into ignorance with a few misplaced sentences.
