(11,243 posts)Even at the time, I could not fathom why the media thought the email thing was more interesting than the Russian interference. Editors everywhere asking, should we go with high drama and intrigue so extensive and bizarre that it would be considered dystopian science fiction if it was a novel or do some boring shit about email servers again? Hey! Let's lead with the boring email story! Lock her up! Lock her up! And look the other way at the campaign the obvious ties the Trump campaign had with Russian oligarchs.
