Country Will Now Have A Serious Discussion About Guns? OR, Prayers To Sky Daddy Will Make It All OK?

The shootings in CO today could be the impetus for us to have a serious discussion about guns in this country. But that's the elephant in our country's moral room.

Instead, we'll rush to our houses of worship to ask why these things happen, as if we don't already know. We'll leave our worship centers, content in the belief that our imaginary sky daddy didn't make the killings happen, even if life and death are - ultimately - his "will."

At the end of the day, we'll decide that these shootings are just one of those things for which there is no logical explanation. Shit happens. Ho-hum.

Guns exonerated? Check! Sky daddy exonerated? Check!

Now, vote in November for the guy who promises never to address the issue of gun violence in this country.

Just think how the NRA has gone after Obama when Obama has only worked to clean up bush's mess and worked on the ACA.
