definitely politically motivated

It is no coincidence that the trump administration hates CNN, and that the DOJ is being manipulated by trump, so this would not surprise me.

In this case I am rooting for AT&T who says no way, and they will take this to court

wanted to attempt the deal was CNN. That doesn't even make sense to me.

Personally, the deal should not be allowed because in my view it is really anti-competitive, but that they requested specifically that CNN be gotten rid of for the deal to be considered, really seems that this is politically motivated

The following is PURE speculation:

Rupert and sons are nothing if not businessmen.

They are making BeaucoupBux on Fox.

Whispers have become open discussions that Rupert has soured on Toxic Don. Maybe to the point bitter.

Toxic Don hates CNN.

Rupert knows how to create media with a point of view.

Imagine CNN as the cable channel we wanted MSNBC to be. Imagine the viewership if they go all in on Progressivism.

He has lots of American Media properties; none of them are Liberal. None of his British properties are Liberal.

He's a cancer, and should die of cancer ASAP.
