How is a man like Roy Moore, privileged from birth, supposed to cope with suddenly being accountable and answerable for his actions? Are you people, at long last, that heartless? You can't see how bad this makes Roy Moore feel, and how upset he is by it? His own liddle brudder had to come out and tell everyone what a swell guy Roy is. Oh, the humanity!

unless they get really good counseling.

The perps life is only 'ruined' when light is shined onto his sick behavior.. Most often YEARS later.

Finished the sentence. If you're a republican? No problem! You'll still get supporters from the Values Voters crowd! And you get bonus points if you pray for your forgiveness and/or salvation!

having solicited a prostitute in Washington, DC? Unfortunately the statute of limitations had expired at that point (2007), but he admitted it and apologized.

And when he next visited the Senate, he was applauded by his fellow Republican senators.

Certainly a highly (im)moral group of senators!

I think the main reason the repugs stood behind Vitter (other than their appreciation for his creativity with the prostitutes) was that the Governor of LA was a Democrat and they would have lost a seat in the Senate. Selective outrage is their method.

And when Roy Moore was asked in an interview today if he dated underage girls, I think his answer was something on the order of:

"No, not generally."

What does that mean????? "not generally"????? Does that mean only once a week? Or only on Tuesdays?

Sick MF.

A man like that has potential to be an important contributor to the world.

The woman? Not so much.

to "ruin" the person. That makes anyone with a big mouth really powerful. What do they expect, that no accusations are ever to be made, since they will deny it and play the victim that their life is "ruined?"

However, I haven't seen much in the way of real denial
It's been, they happened so long ago, Joseph and Mary (though Joseph didn't sexually assault Mary), the parents of John the Baptist
The Bible thing is kind of ridiculous since it's true people married a lot earlier, but part of that was because the mortality rate was fairly high (compared with today)
