The same people who fervently believe that Hillary Clinton ran a child sex ring

out of a pizza parlor refuse to entertain the possibility that Roy Moore made unwanted sexual advances on young women and girls.

And sadly, it doesn't surprise me at all.

He fervently advocated that journalists should investigate any and all allegations against Clinton. What's so bad about investigations?

I pointed out that the Pizzagate pizzeria didn't even have a basement. He didn't care. He still wanted Pizzagate to be investigated.

On the other hand, he couldn't IMAGINE why somebody would think ill of Trump.

Plus, he was a 9/11-truther who also thought that the US-establishment started the syrian civil-war to brink refugees as cheap labor to Europe.

And he was a radio-host...

anything now because "truth" and "right" are whatever they're told serves their tribe.

And we have gone, amazingly, from being one of the world's safest, most stable and prosperous nations to a dangerously unable one.

New warning is out that traitors may be gutting our State Department's foreign service functions to destroy our power in the world.

On the plus side, the 40% of the electorate who didn't vote in 2016 won't include many overtaken by an insane partisanship. They won't be the type who will support everything this administration does. And we still have to find out how many moderate conservatives will finally realize they are far down a wrong path and break away. Yes, I know, a small minority at most, but we only need a few percent to just not vote.

The tRumpublicans crimes here go sooo much further than just denial.

At least with denial, they still pretend they think pedophilia is a bad thing.

They aren't just denying it, they are outright JUSTIFYING it. SO much worse imo.

To read that Mary was 15.

Maybe one of those deep sea scrolls?

I do remember that perverted old Preacher on Duck Dynasty telling the men in his congregation to get ‘em while they are young to teach them right.

One of the many reasons I left a Church. The Sunday School teacher repeated their nuggets each week to the class.

They believe that women are on this planet for the pleasure of men and child-bearing, and age is only a number to them.

The only time women get promoted to positions of power in the GOP is when they can be used in the service of men. This is especially evident in the women in Trump's administration, like Huckabee-Sanders, Ivanka and Conway. They are there to echo his lies, lie to cover up a lie, or act as a fig leaf for his anti-women policies and ideas.

NOTHING matters except money to the GOP. Nothing.
There is obviously money behind Moore, otherwise the GOP wouldn't care.

Poor folk in. Trump has probably prayed as frequently as he showed his tax returns. Now, he is all about smoozing the evangelicals with his right side and robbing them of their healthcare to put more money in his and his fat cats pockets, with his left.

It reminds me of Cabaret, with Liza Manelli and Joel Grey, MONEY.

...in a building that does not even have a basement... the OUTRIGHT LIES were chiefly promoted by this asshole:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Posobiec

Posobiec describes himself as a "Republican political operative". He has called his work "reality journalism—part investigative, part activist, part commentary", and has said: "I'm willing to break the fourth wall. I'm willing to walk into an anti-Trump march and start chanting anti-Clinton stuff—to make something happen, and then cover what happens." Will Sommer, an editor at The Hill, has said Posobiec "make[s] stuff up, relentlessly", and that "there's no one at that level."

Makes up stuff relentlessly.

43. They Just Do Not Care
Sat Nov 11, 2017, 12:49 PM
Nov 2017

It is not that they cannot, or will not entertain the idea that Roy Moore mistreated young women; it is just that they do not care. They did not really care whether or not Hillary Clinton ran a child sex ring out of a pizza parlor. They did not care that Bill Clinton may have had sex with women other than his wife. They only cared about whether or not Bill and Hillary Clinton where Democrats.

The only thing that made anti-Clinton Republicans angry was that they were Democrats. This was clear during the Clinton impeachment and it has been clear ever since the impeachment. During the impeachment numerous Republican men, who had condemned Clinton, were exposed as having had one, or more affairs. In many of those cases the affairs were just brushed aside. Newt Gingrich seems to still be prominent on the right. Gingrich is a man who supposedly cheated on two of his wives, left one wife after she was diagnosed with Cancer, and supposedly failed to pay child support. David Vitter, although the allegations against him were not proven until he was elected to the Senate, went on to have an improved political career. Even though the allegation were not proven until he made it to the Senate, Vitter's sex with prostitutes was an open secret. Then you have the Republican governor who left the country to be with his mistress, left his wife, married his mistress, and then ran for Congress and won the election. Then you have Trump. A man who was married three times, cheated on at least one of his wives, tried to cheat on his third wife when she was pregnant, bragged about sexually harassing women, and supposedly walked in on a group of naked teenage girls who were competing is one of his beauty pageants. Yet, the right still voted for him.

It can be argued that Republicans never actually cared about sexual misbehavior, but just needed something to use to attack Democrats. How many times have they turned their backs on, or treated a Republican man the same way they treated Bill Clinton for misbehaving with women? They seem to be more than willing to vote for Republican men who sexually misbehave.
