You know what the winner was on Tuesday?
Social Justice.
The diversity of the men and women that we elected was staggering. It proves without a doubt that Social Justice is at the forefront for voters. Economic Justice is important, yet the voters said that without social justice we will never have economic justice. Hand in hand or not at all.
Women, black women where a huge voice in the outcome...not just as candidates but as advocates that spent their time tirelessly flipping votes and connecting to voters.
I am not sure the impact has been felt by some here. Not sure they understand the candidates that won are so diverse. This is an amazing win and telling for what Americans stand for. SOCIAL JUSTICE. Black, Hispanic, Sikh, Women, 17 STEM researchers ran and some won. Science will never be silenced. Transgender....she won against the man that wrote the 'bathroom bill'. Think about that for a moment, she won as a transgender in VA against the man that told her she had no right to use the ladies room.
We rise and rise again. The force awakens...star wars.
