But then they're going to have somebody that comes in and says "This is going to be the cost of litigating this," and the person -- the other -- the accuser's attorney is going to work pro bono, and that means "for free," and they're going to see this to the ends of the earth unless they can get out, and blah blah blah blah. That happens too, and other people just do -- do some people do it for political reasons?

How do you possibly tell, know the truth, except -- okay, so, the two other girls were older in this case. He was apparently, like, 32, and he dated -- one girl was 18, one girl was 17, they never said he did -- there was no sexual -- there was kissing involved, and then they're saying this one encounter with a 14 year old --

No 32 year old regardless of gender or sexual orientation has any business being in a sexual or even emotional relationship with a teenager. At 18 it is still wrong but they are legally an adult even if their brains are still years away from being fully developed.

Instead of realizing the power differential that exists and makes it just as abusive for a 30-something woman to molest a 14-year-old boy as it would be if the genders are reversed, they're thinking about how many 14 year olds want sex because they wanted sex at 14

They don't understand the actual impact of statutory rape. They don't understand why it's wrong for an adult to say yes to an advance, even if the child is dancing naked and literally begging. It's only when they think of their daughters do they get offended, and it's because they see women as property and virginity as a woman's value. They'd cheer their 14-year-old son on if he "got lucky" with an adult.

At least until they end up being grandparents and having their grandchild's mother be their own ages.
