I'm just saying. ABC (Ross?) reported the truth, and CNN and MSNBC have since buried the story. I was watching when they admitted he was one of their own. Now MSNBC is too damn biased to admit to it.

was in 2004 just before the election. A friend sent it to me because it was so insightful. It was by someone that posted a set of pictures of just pairs of eyes. You could identify the progressive versus conservatives easily. The conservative eyes were cruel and sometimes crazy. This man has conservative eyes. You can just see it. That is something people on this site have known for at least eight years.

You sound like someone who used to say they could i.d. the mentally ill by the shape of their heads.

There is no indication that this situation had ANYTHING to do with politics.

It appears the guy was mentally ill.

That's what we know.

I cannot understand why or how any progressive person could make a claim that you can determine someone's political views from a picture.

Honestly - that's a shamefully stupid remark. It's too bad you continue to defend it.

your eyes are expressive. They are an outward projection of your inner self. Your example of the shape of your head is ridiculous. Your thoughts don't control the way your head is shaped, but they do control your facial expressions. That's like trying to compare the length of your fibula to your smile to try to determine if someone is happy or sad. It's just damn common sense to look for a smile if you want to know if someone is happy rather than your ridiculous example of looking at bones. It's just damn weird of you to talk about looking at bone structure. Watch the eyes of a great actor like Michael Caine sometime. You'll learn something.

I believe there is something to the saying that the eyes are the window to the soul. I don't believe that it is a consistent indicator and should not be used without other evidence, and of course, it isn't.

How does he look like anything other than some generic man in his 20's?

Please. Explain.

"Just look at him" will not be accepted as a valid answer.

It was journalism at its fucking worst. and the guy in the picture doesn't even look anything like the average tea party member- who's approximately 40 years older, just to start with. He just looks like a kid from anywhere.

The media in this country has no backbone. We need to make sure the truth gets out. I know most of my friends know the truth since there's some good bashing of the tea party and their attack this morning on Facebook.

...the person they identified turned out to be a 55-year-old Aurora resident who happens to be named Jim Holmes.

It was a result of a completely inadequate investigation.

They don't exactly use the best cameras.

Holmes looks like pretty much a typical guy.

He doesn't have "crazy eyes" or such.
