that shows the size of the counties by population instead of area?
The MSM keeps throwing up the Virginia Map, and you'd swear that with all that "red" that is was a landslide ReTrumplican victory.
I'd like to flood my local stations and some of the Cable networks with a map that shows how small the number of ReTrumplican votes was.
Graphics matter! People should have a better understanding of how "big" that VA win is.

(15,359 posts)Just a pet peeve of mine.
Maybe the DNC can take a break from their circular firing squad and start pumping out these Population Map Graphics to the Media.
Dems need to take every advantage, and not let what appears to be small insignificant stuff like this pass. It reeks of laziness.
Sure, it may be a small thing, but images, graphics and facts are IMPORTANT. (Please Note the number of times wingnut sites and Faux News have splashed the "red map of 2016" across America's screen.
That image makes it appear as if the "red" is "superior", and then if you're a Democrat, you're forced to talk about how most of those "red" patches have more cows than people.
We should never...NEVER...pass up an opportunity to set the record straight

You can, however, make your own from this general anamorphic map for VA:
