While voters lined up eagerly today to replace him, the public-beach hogging, failed Trump sycophant Chris Christie of Bridge-gate fame could not resist demonstrating what New Jersey voters finally figured out a long time ago—that he is an utter and total asshole.

Christie was confronted outside his polling place today by a female voter who asked him why he hadn’t merged a certain township and borough during his eight -year tenure as governor. He responded by berating and mocking the woman for her supposed laziness in not running for office herself, then bemoaned the fact that he’d been forced to represent New Jerseyans just like her:

"Go in and vote for whoever you want. I never said I was going to merge the two towns," he continued.
"You want to merge Mendham township and Mendham borough, run for the township committee," said Christie, who resides in the township. "No, I know, 'cause that's too hard. It's easier to sit here and complain."
"But you know what? That's the joy of public service. ... It's serving folks like you that is really such a unique joy. It really is. You're fabulous," Christie told the woman as she walked away.

This miserable, vindictive bullying fuck should never have held an elective office in the first place. But as his Republican Lieutenant Governor, Kim Gaudagno, runs like a scared rabbit from Christie’s record-low approval ratings towards an all-but certain humiliating defeat at the polls tonight, it’s perhaps fitting that he had one last opportunity to demonstrate his personality for all to see.

To think he once had the pretense of becoming President.
