I just got a cold chill run up my spine. The first election returns are coming in....

....and they're showing the county map of Virginia.

All I could think of was one of the worst nights of my life, when the returns starting changing and showing that trump would "win" last year.

Horrible night, and it's deja vu all over, hopefully with better results in the few elections tonight.

Thanks. It's not the results themselves, it's seeing those maps that brings back memories.... George II Nov 2017 #3

It's not the Virginia map itself, it's the thought of election returns themselves. George II Nov 2017 #9

I sooooo needed this place one year ago tonight, and it was not available...I was in a total meltdown crisis and my chosen online support family was cut off from me....made the entire surreal experience even worse...

Went to a choir rehearsal figuring by the time it was over at 9:30 it would all be done and I wouldn't have to think about Donald Trump ever again. Checked my phone after the rehearsal and found out to my shock and horror that I was horribly wrong...

.....all of a sudden in about 30 minutes they all flipped. I'm still convinced there was intervention by someone, probably Russia.

I'd planned on meeting up with some friends to celebrate, but obviously that didn't happen.

Tonight is starting to make me feel better, but I'm saving that champagne for when Orange Julius is no longer squatting in the White House.

I still turn off the tv or leave the room when Trump(R) is shown.
