Read that this guy posted this on @9 gag yesterday and he got tips on how to carry it out. This thread was scrubbed but someone saved a screenshot

and another boasting "We did it! WE got him to actually shoot in the theater! "

12. On another loony site

One of the posters claimed he or she was trolling @ 9 gag yesterday apparently and read the thread where this person threatened to shoot at the theater and others were giving him tips.

They say the thread was scrubbed on @ 9 gag, but someone saved these screenshots. They are hosted at i.imgur. I only posted the link for the first pic, but it ended up loading in the thread. Rightclick for the properties.

Could all be bullshit; I just found it odd and wanted to get others' takes on this.

I've been to many sites that render different pages yet the address line only points to the index page. For instance by using post or session variables to manage navigation instead of get or a specific address. Embedding the content in a frame accomplishes the same functionality. It also hides content from robots.

After checking out the snapshots at archive.org, I conclude this is a fake. the url should be //9gag.com/hot

The poster who sent the links says that 9gag scrubbed the actual thread. I downloaded it from i-imgur.

Take this report for what it is worth, it is picking up steam:

The gunman apparently bragged about his plans on the social media website 9gag.com...and "users of the website are saying that the person or persons running the 9gag.com website egged him on."

Someone show us the 9gag thread/cache before we're believing it. The best we have is the screen shot below. SShots can easily be faked. All attempts at search turn up: "No results found for "TDKR SACRIFICE"." The pic also indicates a number of tweets. No tweets via 9gag for "TDKR SACRIFICE" have been unearthed.

**Update #2 - Not one of the supposed screen shots from the comments below can be found in link form. And one of the users that has a post attributed to them in the pics in no way had any even remotely ridiculous posts on 9gag. 'JamesHolmes154' is nowhere to be found to boot. Not buying this and about to lock the thread.
