1. Franken uses incredibly measured language

I'm sure that from his experience as a comedian, Franken's mind is racing with all kinds of pithy statements and bon mots, but when it comes to asking questions at a hearing or writing a letter to someone who's trying to dissemble, Franken uses language very precisely.

He has a very disciplined mind, and Sessions will soon rue the day (if he doesn't already) he decided to bandy words with Franken.

Many have learned the hard way trying to discount Franklin as a mire hack comedian.

What struck me wasn't the usual measured language for these things, but its directness. One step below what one might see in an indictment.
