Rumor: DeVos may be ready to resign...

Last edited Fri Nov 3, 2017, 04:18 PM - Edit history (1)

Basically, she's too ineffective and incompetent to do her damn job and her anti-public education agenda isn't doing her any favors with anyone.

Let's party if she actually goes.

She wanted to be Sec Ed because she and her family are in line to cash in bigly if federal education policy gets heavily tilted toward charter schools. Sure, it looks corrupt as all hell, but that's never been an obstacle for these greedy fuckheads in the past.

If all the unqualified people in this administration quit, there would be nobody left, and that includes Orange Ass. There is not a single person I respect in the entire crew. Money grubbing elites, who THINK they know it all, yet know nothing. Rick Perry is as qualified for his position as well as she is. The gop OWNS this entire mess. She's connected to the Spectrum Health Server, which is connected to the Alfa Bank (of Steele dossier fame) and the Trump Tower server.

Hope your rumors are correct. This is getting better and better. . . .

http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/09/politics/fbi-investigation-continues-into-odd-computer-link-between-russian-bank-and-trump-organization/index.html

From May 4 until September 23, the Russian bank looked up the address to this Trump corporate server 2,820 times -- more lookups than the Trump server received from any other source.

As noted, Alfa Bank alone represents 80% of the lookups, according to these leaked internet records.

Far back in second place, with 714 such lookups, was a company called Spectrum Health.

Spectrum is a medical facility chain led by Dick DeVos, the husband of Betsy DeVos, who was appointed by Trump as U.S. education secretary.

Together, Alfa and Spectrum accounted for 99% of the lookups.

Seychelle Islands last year during the campaign, I think I heard Rachel Maddow say.

Flynn and Kushner were joined by Bannon for a separate meeting with the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, who made an undisclosed visit to New York later in December, according to the U.S., European and Arab officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.

and

Officials said Zayed and his brother, the UAE’s national security adviser, coordinated the Seychelles meeting with Russian government officials with the goal of establishing an unofficial back channel between Trump and Putin.

Fundamentalists see any disaster that befalls them as God testing their faith.

Hurricane? God is testing me.

Fire that kills their whole family? God is showing his love by protecting me from that calamity.

Get appointed to Trump’s Cabinet? God will give me my reward in Heaven.

DeVos’ work is not yet done - the entire education system is not right wing Christian madrassas yet, so she still has a purpose. The only way I see her resigning is if she does so in lieu of prosecution.
