I am a real American

I care about our Mothers and Fathers, Sisters and Brothers, Sons and Daughters killed overseas by American Imperialism.

I am a real American.

I pay my fair share of taxes.

I am a real American.

I care about my neighbors, and I share with those in need even though I am in need myself.

I am a real American.

My skin color doesn't matter neither does the country my relatives came from.

I am a real American.

I don't covet those who have more, I only wonder why they do less.

I am a real American.

I believe everyone should have healthcare at affordable pricing.

I am a real American.

I believe that love transcends man's law that keeps individuals from becoming a family

I am a real American.

I believe that you should be free to practice the religion of your choice, not just the religion of the rich White man.

I am a real American.

I believe that all should be welcome and given the chance to prove their worth, not turned away because they have skin of a different color or don't speak English as a first language.

I am a real American.

I believe corporations are not people, just corrupt entities that put profit over people.

I am a real American.

I love my Country more than I love money.

I am a real American.

I question those who would exclude me from the conversation because I don't fit their definition of real.

I am a real American.

I would protect my Country against terrorists internal and external, even those who use money to terrorize the poor.

I am a real American.

Not just because I was born here, but because I am what America is.

I am a real American.

because I'm pretty sure they care about what the fuck is going on over there.

And what about their families? Do they care, or are they "Real Americans"

Those people make me want to puke...

might not think so, but I know what I am.

I'm an advocate for social justice, safety nets, and freedom from want. I like good schools and educated children and quality teachers who are decently paid and appreciated.

I think a rising tide lifts all boats--which is much better than being swamped in the wake of a speeding luxury yacht piloted by Mittsy's lackey.

I particularly like the one...

"I don't covet those who have more, I only wonder why they do less."
