(9,267 posts)There was a Papa John's in my town that lasted less than a year. Nice couple from my church owned it and hired a few church youth so I had to try it a couple times. Bleh. We have a lot of "real" pizza places around here plus the usual chains, they couldn't compete.

(15,222 posts)When I worked for an uber conservative company and they had it brought in for a company lunch. Tasted like cardboard. It was painfully obvious that the restaurant had skimped on ingredients which I'm sure they do to try to maximize profits.
No thank you. Never again. If their sales are down, they might try making a better product.
