Never trivialize or dismiss those who come to terms/w sexual abuse and confront their abusers

...there's often a tragic story behind the abuse; a mixture of shame, regret, and yes, sometimes conflicting views about their abuser.

We absolutely need more men to examine their behavior and attitudes toward the women (and men) they interact with, and seriously question any notion they might have to sexualize encounters without full consent, and to understand that consent can never be given to them to sexualize conversations or sexual acts from underage persons

Anna Graham Hunter graciously and courageously provides us with the a full range of reactions and emotions surrounding her ordeal with Dustin Hoffman at 17 years old which is a valuable glimpse into the struggle countless women endure as they navigate their way through our overtly sexist society.

..must read (first person) article:

Although it's tough to read, it certainly doesn't leave much room for denials on the part of the abuser.

And it also takes away the ability to "Not remember," as there were clearly other people there who can be pressed into testimony.
