The "together with others" has to be coincident in time with the things that the indictment is talking about (failure to file, money laundering, etc.)... therefore the "others" have to be people like "Company A" and "Company B". It couldn't be someone that someone else spoke to years after the events, and it couldn't possibly be Trump.

People have to be patient. None of what we've seen in these indictments has any plausible connection to Trump (other than establishing that some on his campaign were agents for Russia). They are the lever being used to get people to turn on him for more substantial actions later.
