I'm *old* and have tinnitus and (fill in the myriad other deficits here), so I thought I heard in the intro that both of them were going to be on today's show. But pity me, because I left the whole show turned on WAITING, when otherwise I would have clicked over to Jerry SPRINGER (good Dem and gentleman and humane being).
Well, they had a good discussion about KELLY's jerk statement about Robert E. LEE and I was *gasped* out of my mind to hear Whoopi say that "everybody owned slaves, *LINCOLN* owned slaves"!1 Later she clarified that it was Mrs LINCOLN or her family who did, but that "Abe was NOT an Abolitionist."
So it was a learning experience for me, if HEAD SPINNING counts as that.
