Terror on Trumps Watch

It is nauseating watching this huckster bloviate about terrorism.

He is keeping us safe by gutting the State Department, who runs programs like -

"The Bureau of Counterterrorism and Countering Violent Extremism’s mission is to promote U.S. national security by taking a leading role in developing coordinated strategies and approaches to defeat terrorism abroad and securing the counterterrorism cooperation of international partners."

"President-elect Donald Trump is planning to restructure two of the nation's top intelligence agencies, according to a Wall Street Journal report published Wednesday.

The newspaper writes that Trump plans to reduce the size of the office of the Director of National Intelligence and the CIA, fearing the agencies have become too large and politicized.

"The view from the Trump team is the intelligence world has become completely politicized," The Journal quoted someone close to Trump's transition team as saying. "They all need to be slimmed down. The focus will be on restructuring the agencies and how they interact."

The apparent plans come as Trump continues to mock US intelligence agencies and dismiss their reports that Russia hacked and leaked emails from Democratic officials in an attempt to influence the US election."

So, with our hands tied behind our backs, we will be sitting ducks with this treasonous bastard in office. Of course, he will use this to further his authoritarian agenda, and divert the public.

Democrats need to hammer on this, and stop letting the autocrat frame the narrative.

They need to do it publicly and loudly, and not let themselves be drowned out by the cult of Trump.
