Bryan Cranston Tells People Who Want Donald Trump To Fail: F**k You

Actor Bryan Cranston has no time for people who hope Donald Trump will fail as president.

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the “Breaking Bad” star admitted that Trump was “not the person who I wanted” in the White House.

Indeed, Cranston vowed before the 2016 presidential election to move to Canada should Trump win. (He didn’t end up making the move north, however.)

“That being said, he is the president. If he fails, the country is in jeopardy,” Cranston said in the piece published online Monday.

“It would be egotistical for anyone to say, “I hope he fails,’” he added. “To that person I would say, fuck you. Why would you want that? So you can be right?”

Cranston explained that he “honestly” wants Trump to succeed and would support anyone ― Democrat or Republican ― who has a good idea to move America forward.

If you would perhaps pull your head out of your ass you would see that.

Where the f**k have you been for the last 11 months when trump has been trying to undo every positive things that President Obama has done, form destroying the environment, taking away people's healthcare, etc.. etc. etc.

In fact anyone who would like to see THAT SUCEED, I would say, fuck you!!!

As POTUS, Kremlin Don failed the moment he came down that escalator. He’s incapable of success beyond feeding his own ego and stuffing his own pockets, more often than not by bilking. He has not done a single positive thing for this nation, in office or out.

All we want to do is limit the extent of his vandalism.

If Trump succeeds in fully implementing his racist, misogynistic, homophobic, anti-science, anti-environment, fascist agenda, we are all truly fucked. And don't even get me started on this man-baby killing us all with nukes just because he has a temper tantrum.

Trump is unfit for office. He needs to go.

ETA: Fortunately for Mr Cranston, he doesn't have to worry about the dismantling of programs that help poor people, like me, survive. I'm sure he'll get a nice tax cut.

Like you, i could see someone saying, a year ago, "Well, we're stuck with him now. Let's hope he succeeds."

But now that we've seen the recklessness, willful ignorance, arrogance, and incompetence, plus a dollop of criminality, the ship has sailed on "I hope he succeeds."

Trump does not have ideas that will move America forward. Trump's only ideas involve lining his own pockets and erasing the accomplishments of President Obama, a genuine leader. Trump is a two-bit hack. Why would I want that to succeed?

This notion that there is some bs that we can agree with Trump on...that he'll actually push. Trump is never going to do anything that he thinks will allow the Democrats have a political victory. So this notion that "we can work with him on good policy" is a figment of the imagination for some on the Left who want to believe Trump is "not that bad." IDK if Cranston is a liberal or not, IDK his politics. He could be a right-winger or a "moderate Conservative."

I find it problematic that anyone on the Left at this point is still looking to join Trump in anything considering all of the damage he's done and could potentially do in the future. So they'd ally with Trump on one issue, just to hate him on all others? That's effing pointless, but they'll spin it as being a demagogue. No, we have standards and self-respect about what our beliefs are.

You can want something all you want, but it doesn't call it into reality. You can observe someone's actions and conclude that those actions are not sustainable, will backfire, and will not accomplish anything good, that they are doomed to failure. When that person fails, it's simply the natural and normal consequence of a bad plan or policy; observing that bad plan or policy didn't cause it to fail, it failed all on its own.

There's a difference, Mr. Cranston.

If Trump had any ideas that actually were good for America, then he would be supported. He doesn't, end of story. We do not want Trump to fail generically at being president, as in, fall down the steps of Air Force One (though that would be funny as hell), or start a war or anything. We want his (and Republicans' for that matter)agenda to fail. We want him to FAIL at taking healthcare away from millions of people. We want him absolutely to FAIL in providing a huge tax cut to the wealth at the expense of the poor and middle class. We need him to FAIL in inviting foreign interference into our elections. We want him to FAIL in selling off our public lands to mining and oil companies.

We certainly want him to FAIL in what he wants to do to make this country a horrible place to live for all but the wealthiest people.

If Trump fails then the country is not in jeopardy. If Trump succeeds then he has been able to implement policies which would damage the country, its citizens and our international relations.

If Trump succeeded then:

Healthcare as we know it would be denied to many. People would lose their coverage and not be able to receive the very treatment they need to live.

Immigrants would be denied access to this country for no other reason than the color of their skin and the religion they practice. People who live and work here, our neighbors and friends would be sent to a country which could be completely foreign to them (dreamers).

The rich would receive tax cuts while the middle and lower class are further hindered and damaged by wealth disparity.

Minority citizens, women and members of the LGBT community will experience further bigotry, hatred and bile. Trump and his supporters view these actions as their duty and claim it under the guise of being "American."

As positions within the federal court system become available, Trump will be able to fill the seats with alt-right and Christo-Fascist RNWs who will set the civil rights movement in this country back to early 20th century values....

Guns everywhere... Guns on every person. Shooting's go unchecked. People thrown in prison for having the wrong skin color, gender or sexual identity.

World War FUCKING 3 with North Korea, Iran, China, anyone who insults Trump

All that to "Make America Great Again."

So yeah Mr Cranston, fuck you. If you want Trump to succeed then this is what you want. How about considering this before insulting others.
