Boente was fired according to NBC.

Dana Boente, Senior Federal Prosecutor and Obama Holdover, Submits Resignation

On Wednesday, Boente was notified by the chief of staff to Attorney General Jeff Sessions that he should submit his letter of resignation, so that the political process for naming a successor could begin.

Boente fired so Trump can pick someone and a back door way to upset Mueller's progress... Mueller says no way and indictments are filed later that day... Wonder if he's shooting for the top???

saying that the reason for the resignation was that his part of the investigation was over and that he could not testify in the charges if he was still a member of the investigative team.

someone who actually knows him, had worked with him, got a goodbye call on the day his "resignation" was announced. She said that very recently -- within a week or two -- he was all excited about the next phase of his upcoming work. She said it was very clear to her that it was NOT a voluntary resignation.
