(16,254 posts)It would just make Trump feel safer. I think the public would explode if he pulled such a stupid trick, but you know he's sitting somewhere sucking his thumb and trying to figure out what to do.
If he does anything stupid, it will be before Monday morning, I should think.
I sure wouldn't want to be his babysitter at this point in time.

More, although Mr. Mueller runs a no-leak operation, I know that his team has researched if it is legal to deprive either of the grand juries Mr. Mueller's leadership role. The powers associated with grand juries is greater than that of a special investigator within the context of the executive branch. A federal grand jury is, in many ways, a part of the judicial branch.

(13,485 posts)We talk so much about the possible firing, the individuals in the indictment, the line of succession of those who could fire Mueller, but what can happen next and who is in control of the judicial proceeding is really important.
