New York Daily News NAILS IT!!!

"But it is a reasonable question to ask what happens next.

I'd suggest water cooler talk, diner discussions, and even the pundits across the entire spectrum keep this in mind: The special counsel's actions have not been, are not, nor ever will be driven by political considerations. White noise and distractions of the kind we've seen this past week in regard to Russian purchase of Uranium One, the Mikerin bribery case, the dossier, charges of conflict of interests from political hack in Congress, or self-defeating Trump tweets about the special counsel's investigation itself (doesn't he realize all that is potential evidence against himself?) do not influence either the direction of the investigation (save perhaps to generate more leads) or the decisions made about who to prosecute and when.

Sure, the special counsel knows all about the games con men play, the uninformed and artificially heated rhetoric they spew when their backs are against the wall, and the fear that underlies it all, but that awareness doesn't mean he's the kind to play with pigs in their sty.

And, if you think otherwise, then you don't know Bob Mueller."

Although the perp should be much more bloated in the mid-section, the head-top muskrat and tiny hands are absolutely spot-on!

Thanks!

Oh, I'm sure he'll try to stir them up. AND stoke the "lock her up" gang - because, with this jerk, all roads of blame some how lead to Hillary.

I find myself thinking ahead to - what happens when she finally ages out and dies? What on earth will they do? What WILL they do? What happens to those assholes when there's no more Hillary to blame and attack and detest and make shit up about? What happens when there's no possible way to "lock her up" anymore unless they unearth her coffin and start persecuting her corpse? What will they do? What WILL they do? I can't remember a GOP punching bag like Hillary Clinton, in all my years. I don't think there's ever been one.

And I will NEVER understand the hatred of her - until the day they're digging ME up for persecution.

The author echos many of my thoughts since I learned of the indictments. Play time is over. Tweet storms, yapping heads on Faux, CNN, MSNBC, crazy shit spewed by Congress Hacks, media types running to and fro and other assorted bullshit are just white noise. Play time is over. In a society ingrained with the rule of law, this is damn serious. People will be tried and potentially put in jail. Pardons could be granted, as part of unfolding events, but there are serious repercussions to that as well. Our only modern analog to this shows that the guilty party's attempts to maneuver usually end up being ham handed and self destructive. The only thing that really matters is indictments are coming.....we don't know who, but the thinking is on Monday. What matters now is what can be proven in a court of law, and that's exactly as it should be. Anything beyond that is just vacuous crap and hand waving when it comes to Robert Meuller and the legion like him in government service. They've saved our democracy before and I feel confident they will do it again.

said he is as straight an arrow as one could ever find. Rank and file at FBI know this to be true. Backlash could be considerable.
She also worked for Comey and described him as someone who bows to whatever pressures are on him.

Trump is going to wish he had never fired Comey.

But, I think even Comey realized at some point this was beyond any politics.

To the festering crap printed by the Murdoch clan in the NY Post. Republicans pretty much control the media in this country except for The NYTimes and The WAPO. You can bet that cheeto fingers is itching to fire Mueller. I think that's why Rosenstein said what he did the other day. But the entire Crime Family and their consigliere need to be taken down as quickly as possible. You know they already have got to be sequestering huge amounts of money we will never see again.

When I read the Wall Street Journal was calling on Mueller to resign.

More of Murdock's tentacles.

This is going to be interesting.
