Yes. Even the house and senate know he can't try it now that indictments are in the hopper.

No. 45 and the GOP have no shame, own all the judges, and donors/lobbyists will buy off detractors.

Trump has not memory from a political sense, I think he relies on others for that. He just might try his own Saturday night massacre, and might even get to the point that he could fire Mueller.

But he would hopefully pay a heavy price for that, although maybe not until Nov '18.

It has to go through the person that hired Mueller,
the Deputy Attorney General, I think.

But if Trump were planning that, he wouldn't be golfing right now.

If he does, then it is grounds for impeachment.
If he doesn't, then Mueller continues building a case for impeachment.

There will be massive demonstrations all over the country.

Then everyone (or most) will go on to the next shiny object.

The only people I know who are paying attention to all this are people who were politically involved before the Con was elected. All my other friends & family are suffering from Trump fatigue. That's what one friend called it. She went to the women's march, the science march, she went to post card writing parties, but recently, when I asked if she'd called Cory Gardner about the ACA she said she had Trump fatigue & couldn't do politics anymore. If this is the level of enthusiasm we have in 2018, we're sunk.

A lot of Congressional Republicans have said they would not stand for it. But I don;t really believe them, and I doubt Trump does either.

I think there is a significant chance he will try to stop the bleeding by firing Mueller. And those who said it was a bridge too far in Congress will cite the latest bullshit stories to justify why they changed their minds.

I hope I am wrong.

possible. I think it's wishful thinking from his moron supporters, but not actionable by the major players. They deal in secret ploys, rumors and innuendo: Taking action isn't something they are known for.
