I love the guy. But his need of self importance gives trump cover. Trump aint ever going to use him fo north korea. But he will use his comments to lie and defend himself and try to tar other dems as crooked and claim what a victim he is. Just look at what carter believes he says!!

(4,407 posts)Carter's comments aren't going to change a thing. There's a tendency to turn every little thing into an overblown sensation in the 24 hour news cycles. Carter's words will not change the outlook of a single person.
People were acting as if the press was going to stop doing its job when Carter had said that.

I heard an audio tape some years ago in which roslynCarter talked about the Carter initiative re N Korea when Carter was no longer president, and found it disturbing. she revealed that they're acting on the belief that their personal relationship strategy could touch the heart of the leader of N Korea.
