(25,183 posts)Once the details come out, the lobbyists for threatened breaks will come swarming down on Congress. They won't be able to agree on anything.
The last time serious tax reform was done was about 35 years ago. Back then, you had people for whom compromise was not a dirty word. You just don't have that today.
