A handy "clip and share" on the Uranium deal (from Twitter)

- The Uranium One company, before becoming a majority Russian owned company, was Canadian owned, NOT US. The uranium never belonged to the USA. The amount of the uranium was equal in amount to one-fifth fo the uranium the US owns.

- The Uranium One deal between Canada and Russia required clearance from the US Committee on Foreign Investments (CIFUS) as per agreements regarding the transfer of ownership of a material deemed important to national security.

- Clinton was one of NINE cabinet members and department heads that sat on CIFUS. The role of CIFUS was to review the deal for any national security concerns, then pass their findings on to the POTUS.

- Clinton had no decision-making power in the Uranium One deal. It was solely the POTUS.

That Canadian who gave $131 million to the Foundation sold his interest in Uranium One in 2007, three years before it was sold to Russians in 2010. His donations were not a bribe for Hillary helping Uranium One because the alleged help was for a firm the Canadian had not owned for 3 years.
